Alicia Dattner

I'm a comedian and facilitator living in San Francisco.

I received a B.A. in Filmmaking from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. My films have won awards at festivals across the country. I've been performing standup comedy for over a decade, and am currently developing my second one-woman-show. I studied four years of intensive Method Acting with teacher Rob Reece, am a graduate of the Arete Experience and the Spirit of Life Institute courses, all of which I avail in my coaching work. My mission in life is to observe the "'Grand Cosmic Joke'--that pain exists for us to take ourselves less seriously, to laugh, and to experience the joy and wonder of an infinitely perfect universe."
