Biography

Alicia received a B.A. in Filmmaking and Screenwriting from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Her films have won awards at festivals across the country.

She's been performing standup comedy for over a decade, and is currently performing her third full-length show, "Eat, Pray, Laugh!" which won a Goldstar "Roar of the Crowd Award" for Highest Member Rated Show in 2010 and "Best Storytelling" in the United Solo Theater Festival Off Broadway in New York. Alicia's second show, "The Punchline" won "Best of the Fringe" and "Best Female Performer" in the San Francisco Fringe Festival.

Studying four years of intensive Method Acting and Diamond Heart Essence Work with teacher Rob Reece, Alicia is also a student of the Arete Experience, the Spirit of Life Institute, Vipassana meditation, and other growth-oriented work, all of which she avails in her coaching. In 2009, she graduated from the Authentic SF Transformational Leadership Training Course for life coaching and workshop facilitation. She is also a certified Laughter Yoga Leader.

Alicia's mission in life, as she puts it, is to observe the "'Grand Cosmic Joke'--that pain exists for us to take ourselves less seriously, to laugh, and to experience the joy and wonder of an infinitely perfect universe."
